When we founded TOPS in 1990, a lot of thought went into what to call ourselves. We wanted a name that was not only simple but to the point. Our overall goal was to create computer software that would totally optimize packaging and distribution needs. TOPS, an acronym for Total Optimization Packaging Software, seemed perfect. Through a cohesive team effort, we continue to reach that goal. The TOPS line of software is the most advanced tool available for packaging and distribution optimization.
